Our Mission
We provide a harm reduction and DBT based alternative for addiction recovery. The data is clear: AA and other abstinence programs do not work for most people. We believe any reduction in harm and every better day is worthwhile for those struggling with addiction and their families.

We provide a holistic approach to addiction recovery based on five pillars that make SENSE: Skills, Exercise, Nutrition (and pharmacology), Sleep, and whole-life Equilibrium. Creating a life worth living is about creating meaningful interpersonal connections and worthwhile experiences, not addiction. Remember beauty, remember excitement, and imagine life without the substance filter. It is raw, but it is real and worthwhile.

Addicts are the most resourceful and resilient people on earth. We are the survivors. We carry the burden and the pain of generations. We carry it for our families and children.

We also aim to reduce stigma around addiction and increase social awareness of the harm reduction approach to alcohol and substance use disorders through advertising, social media, and community based engagement.

Acceptance
No matter where you are on your journey and what you hope to achieve, we at Zilcho have your back. Our mission is to give you the tools you need to live a life worth living.

Who we are
We are a group of highly motivated professionals committed to giving you an effective alternative to traditional abstinence-only programs like AA or SMART recovery. While we fully support abstinence as a goal and have seen it work for many, the simple fact is that abstinence does not work for everyone and is often an impediment to those who struggle with addiction making meaningful, incremental improvements towards a healthy and sustainable life style.
